Advanced DNA testing and genealogical research are being used to try to identify a man whose remains were found more than six decades ago. The man, historically referred to as "Stubby," was ruled a homicide victim, but his identity was never determined due to the lack of his head, hands, and feet. At the time, it was believed he was a white male, approximately 40 to 60 years old, 6 feet tall, and weighed around 175 pounds.

His remains were buried in a cemetery in 1984. The case is now being worked on by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and Moxxy Forensic Investigations. Further details about the case and the ongoing investigation are available.
