A dog surfing competition was recently held on Galveston Island. The event, which is in its 13th year, took place in surf conditions of one to two feet. Dogs of various sizes participated in the competition.

The event is known as the Ohana Surf Dog Competition. It drew dogs both big and small to compete in the waves.
