Houston Restaurant Weeks is back from August 1 to September 1, 2025, with over 400 participating restaurants. Now in its 22nd year, the event has raised $22 million to benefit the Houston Food Bank. New donation tiers of $1, $3, or $5 per meal reflect rising costs, while continuing the legacy of dining out and giving back.
Houston’s renowned culinary fundraiser, Houston Restaurant Weeks, is set to return for its 22nd year from August 1 through Labor Day, September 1, 2025. The event, which supports the Houston Food Bank, has successfully raised over $22 million, translating to more than 66 million meals for food-insecure residents of Houston since its inception in 2003 by the late media personality Cleverley Stone.
Under the leadership of her daughter, Katie Stone, the event has evolved into the largest Restaurant Weeks fundraiser in the nation. Due to increasing industry costs, donation tiers for 2025 have been revised. Restaurants involved will donate $1, $3, or $5 for each prix fixe meal sold, ensuring the sustainability of operators and supporting the community.
Initially created to increase traffic during the usually quiet month of August, Houston Restaurant Weeks has evolved into the most bustling and lucrative season for numerous local restaurants and suppliers.
“Over 22 years, it has evolved into a formidable fundraiser,” said Katie Stone. “This is an excellent chance for Houstonians to discover our lively food scene.”
Over 400 restaurants spanning from The Woodlands to Galveston will provide brunch, lunch, and dinner menus that include built-in donations. Starting July 15, guests can explore menus and participating restaurants at houstonrestaurantweeks.com.
