Houston Restaurant Weeks Expands North with Nearly 40 Montgomery County Restaurants

Houston’s largest culinary fundraiser is now a regional celebration, with nearly 40 restaurants in Montgomery County participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks 2025, offering prix-fixe dining options through September 1.

The event promotes Greater Houston's culinary growth and generates money for the nation's largest food bank, the Houston Food Bank.

Montgomery County's diversified culinary industry is shining from The Woodlands to Conroe, Shenandoah, and beyond. Black Walnut Café, located near the Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport, serves sophisticated American cuisine with a runway view, showcasing Houston's suburban dining culture.

Citizens Grill and Good Charlie's Oyster Bar serve Southern cuisine and fresh Gulf seafood in the fast-growing FM 1488 area, while Salt Grass Steakhouse, Thai Cottage, and Nona's Italian Grill offer a variety of options.

Babin's Seafood House serves Cajun classics, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse serves Italian-inspired food, and Sal E Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse serves lunch and dinner in a rodizio-style setting.

At Houston Restaurant Weeks, The Woodlands leads Montgomery County, boasting high-end restaurants such as Perry's Steakhouse & Grille, Morton's Steakhouse, Amrina, Phat Eatery, and the newly opened Kokoro Handroll Bar. Other favorites are Amerigo's, State Fare Kitchen & Bar, Fielding's, Kirby's, and Del Frisco's.

The late Cleverley Stone initiated the event in 2003, and it has generated millions for the Houston Food Bank while also supporting local restaurants during August's traditionally quiet season. Diners can enjoy a $25 breakfast or lunch, or a $39 to $55 dinner, while supporting a vital cause.
