An investigation is underway at Spring Independent School District following serious allegations against two teachers at Northgate Crossing Elementary School.

Spring Independent School District (ISD) is currently investigating the response to allegations that two instructors at Northgate Crossing Elementary School administered sleep aids to preschool students under the guise of "special stickers." As a result of the claims, which were initially reported by concerned parents, the educators have been placed on administrative leave while the Spring ISD Police Department conducts an investigation.
Lisa Luviano, the mother of a four-year-old pupil, claimed that the student had returned home with a "sleeping sticker." This sparked a controversy. Following her research, Luviano suspected that the decals were adult-marketed melatonin patches. She submitted a report with school officials, expressing her intention to pursue criminal charges if the allegations were proven to be accurate, as she was alarmed.
Other parents also shared Luviano's concerns. Najla Abdullah, for example, reported that her child's conduct had changed since the beginning of the school year. According to Abdullah, her son's appetite had diminished, and he was weeping more frequently. Since then, parents have contacted Child Protective Services to notify them of their concerns.
Spring ISD acknowledged that the staff members' actions violated district policy regarding medication administration and issued a statement in response to the allegations, reaffirming its dedication to student safety. In an effort to guarantee an exhaustive investigation, the district is currently collaborating with law enforcement.
Many parents are left wondering how long this practice has been in place and what sort of impact it could have on their children as they demand answers. The community anticipates additional developments as the investigation moves forward.
