As Israeli-Iranian hostilities stretched into a sixth day, Tehran issued a stark warning: any U.S. military involvement could trigger a full-scale regional war. The threat follows escalated rhetoric from former President Donald Trump, who has moved to bolster American forces in the region while signaling a hardline stance toward Iran’s leadership.

Iran Warns of “All-Out War” if U.S. Intervenes in Israel Conflict

Tensions in the Middle East have escalated significantly, with Iran issuing a stark warning to the United States on Wednesday. The warning stated that any direct military involvement in its conflict with Israel could trigger a “all-out war” throughout the region.

Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issued a strong warning in an interview with Al Jazeera. “Any American intervention would lead to a full-scale conflict in the region,” Baghaei stated, emphasizing that Iran anticipates neighboring Arab countries to oppose the use of their U.S.-hosted military bases for operations against Iran.

Initially taking a more measured approach, former President Donald Trump—who remains a significant political presence in the U.S.—has shifted toward a bolder position. In recent remarks, Trump suggested a more crucial American role, asserting that merely achieving a ceasefire falls short. “We are looking for something significantly larger,” he stated.

In a bold statement on Truth Social, Trump issued a direct threat to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “We have precise information on the location of the so-called ‘Supreme Leader,’” Trump posted. “He is a straightforward target... We will not be removing him, at least not at this moment.

Trump’s remarks coincided with the increased presence of U.S. warplanes and naval forces in the area, which included the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, indicating a notable rise in military preparedness.

Iranian leaders reacted with intense anger and determination. Khamenei delivered a speech on state television, asserting that “this nation will never surrender” and cautioned the U.S. that any military action would lead to “irreparable damage.”

Ali Bahreini, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, expressed a firm stance to reporters: “We will not show any reluctance in defending our people, security, and land.” We will respond with utmost seriousness and strength, without hesitation.

In a recent development, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stirred up speculation with a mysterious message shared on X (formerly Twitter): “A storm is passing over Tehran.” This is the way authoritarian regimes fall apart.

Thousands of troops from the United States are currently positioned at bases in Arab nations, strategically located within striking distance of Iran. U.S. officials have yet to declare any direct military action. Still, they have issued a stern warning that any assault on American assets or allies would lead to a significant reaction.

The most recent alert from Iran underscores the delicate situation in the region, as diplomatic efforts swiftly yield to rising threats and overt hostilities. As Israel persists with its airstrikes and Iran pledges to respond, the likelihood of an expanded conflict—possibly drawing in the United States—escalates daily.

Global monitors are calling for calm, yet currently, neither party seems inclined to yield.
